Yeah, definitely, Kaelin isn't going to be thinking about Jackson's feelings when that data comes to light. For Kaelin, it's all about angles, and leverage. If Elias unearths something tying Jackson directly into Apex's architecture via the fragment, Kaelin’s first thought would be less 'rival' and more 'leveraged asset.' Jackson isn't competing for the fragment, he's just another weak spot, another door that Kaelin can try to kick open, or at least jimmy a lock on, to get at Apex’s core. The idea that someone else is tangled in Apex's BS is just another data point for Kaelin to exploit, not a reason to team up, unless teaming up gets them what they want faster. Kaelin doesn't really do 'allies' in the traditional sense; they do temporary conveniences.
